Lukashenko to take Skabeyeva to the nuclear weapons storage
Vladimir Putin’s right-hand man has sent a chilling nuclear apocalypse threat to the world, warning the US and other NATO allies they are risking “a situation of direct armed confrontation”.
Putin and his closest aides have made regular threats over the use of nuclear weapons since the beginning of the Ukraine war in February 2022.
Russia possesses a massive nuclear arsenal and has never been shy of boasting about that and showing off its latest weapons.
Tensions are continuing to ramp up with Russia increasingly enraged by the supply of aid, weapons and fighter jets being supplied by the West to Ukraine.
Now Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has insisted the possession of nuclear weapons is to protect his country from security threats.

He said in an interview for the state-owned magazine The International Affairs, published on the Foreign Ministry website: “The possession of nuclear arms is today the only possible response to some of the significant external threats to the security of our country.”
Putin’s right-hand man also warned NATO allies are risking “a situation of direct armed confrontation of nuclear powers”.
He further warned: “We believe such a development should be prevented. That’s why we have to remind about the existence of high military and political risks and send sobering signals to our opponents.”
It is the latest chilling warning from Russia and Putin’s aides over the possible deployment of nuclear force in the war with Ukraine.

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko warned his country would use nuclear weapons in the event of NATO or Ukrainian “aggression”.
Last month, Lukashenko was given tactical nuclear weapons by Putin and although the nukes are said to be under Moscow’s control, the Belarusian leader has in the past Lukashenko claimed he can order their use.
In a new horror warning, said in an interview with state news agency Belta: “We didn’t bring nuclear weapons here in order to scare someone.
“Yes, nuclear weapons represent a strong deterring factor. But these are tactical nuclear weapons, not strategic ones. This is why we will use them immediately once aggression is launched against us.”
Recently, Putin aide and former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev chillingly warned Moscow would have no option but to “go for the use of nuclear weapons” if Ukraine’s counteroffensive is successful.
This had come after kamikaze drones unleashed hell in Moscow’s business district in a three-pronged attack, with major buildings engulfed in flames and skyscrapers destroyed by the strikes – just miles from the Kremlin.
Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky had said his country is “getting stronger” and warned that, gradually, “the war is returning to the territory of Russia”.
But Medvedev – who is now Putin’s deputy on the powerful Russian security council – warned: “Our Armed Forces, repelling the counteroffensive of the collective enemy, protect the citizens of Russia and our land.
“This is obvious to all decent people. But beyond that, they prevent world conflict.
“After all, if we imagine that the offensive of the [Ukrainians] with the support of NATO was successful, and they seized part of our land, then we would have to, by virtue of the rules of the decree of the President of Russia dated 06/02/2020, go for the use of nuclear weapons.
He warned there would “simply be no other option”, adding: “There is simply no other way out. Therefore, our enemies must pray to our warriors. They do not allow the global nuclear fire to flare up.”
