EasyJet passengers stranded in a Greek airport have been told their captain is “refusing to speak” to them.
Hundreds of Brits were forced to spend last night in Rhodes airport after wildfires prevented them from getting to their hotels.
People have taken to social media to complain about being left stranded for hours at the airport without hotel accommodation, with some left sleeping on the floor.
Twitter users have said more than 200 people are stranded on the island, including the young and elderly, with little communication from the airline.
EasyJet is not the only airline responsible for the travel nightmare, as passengers from other airlines report similar issues.

One social media posted a video of passengers being told the captain was “refusing” to talk to them, and saying to easyJet: “is this how you treat your customers after a 17 hour delay at Rhodes Airport? Poor airport staff trying to appease your passengers.”
Another shared the same moment and said: “Is this an acceptable and professional approach to dealing with hundreds of exhausted and distressed passengers with no resolution on getting home?”

Social media users have claimed that over 200 people, including children and elderly people, were forced to sleep on the floor last night.
Devastating wildfires have surged across Greece during the brutal heatwave sweeping Europe.
Officials have evacuated approximately 19,000 people from Rhodes alone.
Meanwhile, thousands of others fled their homes and hotels.
Firemen have described the situation as the most difficult they have ever faced, with Lt Col Yannis Artopoios, a spokesperson for the Hellenic Fire Corps, saying they were fighting back flames in several areas.
