Shocking satellite images appear to show increased activity at North Korea’s main nuclear complex.
The images have been released after Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un promised to increase the production of bomb fuel.
The vow was made as part of the dictator's plans to expand the totalitarian state’s nuclear weapons arsenal.

Several of the images were published by Washington-based thinktank 38 North, on Saturday.
According to The Sun, the flurry of activity is at the Yongbyon Nuclear Science and Weapons Research Center, in North Pyongan.
Increased water discharge from the Experimental Light Water Reactor (ELWR) cooling system can be seen in the images, which were taken on March 3.
38 North believes these photos indicate the new reactor is nearing completion, and will soon transition to operational status.
Additional construction work can be seen in the satellite images around the Uranium Enrichment Plant suggesting a potential expansion.

The publication added that the site's main 5 megawatt reactor remains operational but had some new construction surrounding it.
The report claims: “These developments seem to reflect Kim Jong-un's recent directive to increase the country's fissile material production to expand its nuclear weapons arsenal”.
The news comes as fears grow that North Korea might conduct its first nuclear test since 2017.
