Prince Harry may opt for a brief visit to Britain for his father King Charles' coronation this May, leaving Meghan Markle in California.
Dubbed 'Operation Harry In A Hurry', sources told MailOnline the plan would see Harry whisked into the UK for a 48-hour period on May 6, while Meghan stays in America to celebrate Archie's fourth birthday, which is also on May 6.
Both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly been invited to the King's coronation but thanks to the bombshells dropped in Harry's memoir Spare and the couple's Netflix documentary, it is unclear if the Royal Family defectors will attend.

These bombshells include the revelation that heir to the throne Prince William pushed Harry to the ground in a fit of rage, breaking a dog bowl and ripping Harry's necklace in the meantime.
Relations between Harry, his father and William have come under even further strain, as speculation has increased as to whether or not the Sussexes will retain their royal titles in light of the tell-all memoir and Netflix series.
Conservative MP Bob Seely is also trying to bring forward legislation to strip the Sussexes of their titles for "trashing" the family, "attacking important British institutions" and "monetising his misery for public consumption".
MailOnline also revealed that the Archbishop of Canterbury was drawn into conversations about the Sussexes' coronation attendance, with one train of thought being the couple might attend the ceremony if they were given a prominent seat and confirmation that Harry wouldn't lose his title.

As non-working royals, Harry and Megan's role in the coronation service, which has been stripped back and streamlined at the King's request, is currently unclear.
The monarch has cut back the guest list from the 8,000 dignitaries who watched his mother be crowned queen, to 2,000 people. He has also halved the organising committee's planning time from 16 months to eight.
Despite tensions, and the murkiness surrounding the spare's role in his father's crowning, Harry has said he would still like to see his dad's coronation.

Speaking to journalist Tom Bradby as part of Spare's media junket, the prince said: "There’s a lot that can happen between now and then.
"But, the door is always open. The ball is in their court.
"There’s a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they’re willing to sit down and talk about it."
