Prince William “lunged” at his younger brother during a row about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ’s infamous Oprah interview.
The revelations ahead of the eagerly anticipated memoirs of the younger prince, titled Spare, which is due for release on Tuesday (January 10).
Harry wrote that William was “really steaming” at him as the two took a short walk together with their father near Frogmore Cottage following the death of their Grandfather, Prince Philip in 2021.

As they walked they are understood to have chatted about the interview, while Harry allegedly tried to discuss claims that his wife Meghan Markle had acted in a bullying manner towards Palace staff.
The Duke of Sussex, however, claims the two older men “weren’t listening”.
Annoyed, Harry tried to walk away, but he was grabbed by his brother who said a “secret code word” relating to their mother.
According to the Sun, Harry wrote in the tell-all: “I waved a hand, disgusted, but he lunged, grabbed my shirt. ‘Listen to me, Harold’.

“I pulled away, refused to meet his gaze. He forced me to look into his eyes. ‘Listen to me, Harold, listen! I love you, Harold! I want you to be happy.’”
The Prince alleges that he then returned the phrase, saying “I love you too…but your stubbornness is extraordinary!”
Making his second effort to pull away from William, the older man grabbed him and spun him round to face him so their eyes met.
Harry reportedly writes that William then made the ultimate move to try and convince his brother that he was telling the truth: by swearing on their mother’s life.
“Harold, you must listen to me! I just want you to be happy, Harold. I swear I swear on Mummy's life.
“He stopped. I stopped. Pa stopped. He'd gone there.
“He'd used the secret code, the universal password. Ever since we were boys those three words were to be used only in times of extreme crisis.
Harry said William repeated: “I swear to you now on Mummy's life that I just want you to be happy.”
