Two men were shot, one fatally, in Aurora on Friday night and police have a suspect in custody.
At about 9:25 p.m. police responded to the 800 block of South Buckley Road where they found a man who had been shot in a vehicle, according to a news release. The victim was taken to a local hospital.
Officers determined that the victim was shot in the area of 18100 E. Kentucky Ave., police said. A second victim, a man, was found inside a residence there. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kayan Arizona Cruz, 27, was arrested at the Kentucky Avenue scene, police said. He is being held on investigation of second-degree murder.
The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of victim when he is positively identified and family is notified.
