In the chilling footage shared by talkRADIO, one lad says he is “very worried for my motherland” and is learning how to use an assault rifle to make sure Ukraine is kept safe. While another young-looking kid is shown how to cock an AK-47 by an instructor.
Fears have soared of an imminent Russian invasion, said to be on the cards for Wednesday.
Despite Russian President Vladimir Putin pulling some troops back from the border with Ukraine after military drills with Belarus, US intelligence officials say an invasion is planned for 3am local time tomorrow.
In the footage, an instructor can be seen handing what appears to be a Soviet-made AK47-style assault rifle and allowing kids to get a feel of the weapon.
He can also be seen telling women and children that an assailant will “aim at your chest” in a firefight, to which he says you must drop to the floor and open fire.

An instructor can also be seen showing other members of the public how to kneel and fire the weapon in the chilling scenes.

But Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, insisted on Tuesday that Russia is defiant and will continue to deploy troops around Ukraine as and when they wish, despite calls for calm,
He slammed: “Russia has conducted and will continue to conduct exercises throughout the territory of the Russian Federation. This is an ongoing process, as in all countries of the world.
It is our right to conduct exercises at home, on the territory where we deem it appropriate, and it is not subject to discussion with anyone.”
