Brit teen, 15, ‘raped and dragged into alley’ on night out in Spanish resort

A man has been accused of raping a British teenager in the popular Costa del Sol holiday resort of Fuengirola in Spain.

The teen girl, 15, was allegedly pulled into an alleyway after she had been out with friends but was walking alone.

A 36-year-old from Senegal is about to go on trial with the prosecution demanding a 14-year prison sentence and deportation from Spain.

According to the prosecution, the teenager did not have the strength to call for help after the alleged attack and now suffers from post-traumatic stress symptoms.

The suspect is alleged to have grabbed her by the arm and pushed her into the secluded alley, The Sun reports.

Investigators were told by the girl of a previous episode allegedly involving the same suspect in the summer of 2019, Spanish newspaper reported.

On that reported occasion, the man allegedly approached the teen offering cocaine and, after refusing to accept it, grabbed her arm with the intention of dragging her away.

But thankfully this was allegedly prevented by the girl's friends who were with her at the birthday celebration.

As well as this, the prosecutor has asked that when the man is granted probation, the execution of the sentence should be replaced by his deportation from the country.

They have also asked that he be banned from entering Spain for 10 years from that date.

Finally, the prosecutor is seeking compensation of 15,000 euros for the psychological damage caused by the accused to the victim.
