A teenager had the shock of her life on a theme park ride when a seagull flew into her face – and the whole thing was caught on camera.
In the hilarious video, uploaded to YouTube by Robert Reed, the teen girl and her pal are waiting to be launched in the slingshot ride at Morey's Piers and Beachfront Waterpark in Wildwood, New Jersey.
As the ride lurches into action, the girls begin screaming with exhilaration.
But the screams take a different turn when a passing gull is suddenly caught in one of the girl's mouths.
She frantically tries to move it off her and the bird falls away to the side, while she looks absolutely horrified.
Kiley Holman, 13, later spoke out about the crazy incident and said she had been celebrating the birthday of her pal Georgia Reed, 14, on July 6 when the seagull struck her in the face.
The teen told Fox News: "I knew there was no going back, it was just going to hit me.
"I didn't know what to do, so I wait for it to spin over and then I just grabbed it and threw it off me quick."
Men brazenly walk out of store with rack full of clothes 'they didn't pay for'
Kiley was not hurt but, unfortunately, nobody can vouch for the bird.
This comes after claims that "psychotic" seagulls were causing terror by dive-bombing dogwalkers and stealing food.
A bald dogwalker showed off nasty cuts to his head after being swooped by one of the ravenous birds.
His daughter Natalie said he was walking his puppy at the time of the attack.
She said: "He ducked down to avoid it and just carried on walking and then the next thing he's just felt it smack the back of his head.
"Obviously it had gone up, turned back around and then hit him from behind."
The gulls will often swoop people and animals they perceive as predators if they have chicks nearby, but some of the victims think they have been made bolder by people feeding them.
