Ahead of the recess tomorrow, the Prime Minister is expected to face questions over his response to the pandemic as cases continue to rise. Although the Prime Minister pressed ahead with Freedom Day on Monday, many experts have claimed certain restrictions may need to be reintroduced to save the NHS from being overwhelmed. Sir Keir claimed lifting all restrictions at once had been reckless as the UK progressed with Freedom Day. 

Mr Johnson will also face questions following Dominic Cummings’ bombshell interview with Laura Kuenssberg. 

Mr Cummings claimed senior aides had decided the Prime Minister had been unfit for the decision soon after the 2019 election victory. 

The former advisor also claimed the Prime Minister had refused to call a lockdown last year as those dying were over 80. 

The claims from the former aide have been refuted by Downing Street, however.
