A jealous husband who tied up his wife's lover and cut off his penis with a pair of scissors claims he "blacked out" during the gruesome attack.
Alex Bonilla, 51, allegedly said "this is normal, you will not die today" before snipping off three quarters of his next door neighbour's manhood.
The father-of-five is then said to have left the home of the victim, who has not been named, with the organ. It was never recovered.
Bonilla, from Florida in the US, claims he remembers nothing of the assault in July 2019.
Court documents accuse Bonilla, who lives with his second wife, 35, and their three young children, of going to the neighbour's mobile home, holding him at gunpoint and ordering him to remove his underwear.
The victim claims he was forced into his bedroom and bound before the defendant said: "You are not going to die, but you are going to have something to remember this for your whole life."
Bonilla then put on a pair of gloves and tied a rubber band around the base of the man's penis "several times to cut off the circulation" before hacking it off while saying: "This is for all the women you have been having relationships with."
As he left the victim's home, he allegedly added: "Don't act this way, this is normal. And if you try to call the police, I will be out in two months and I will come back and finish this."
It is believed the defendant's oldest daughter watched the gory incident, which occurred two months after Bonilla caught the neighbour having sex with his wife, unfold through a gap under the bedroom door.
The victim told a probation officer "urinating and the ability to have sex with his wife has been messed up for the rest of his life," while doctors had said he "will never have any sensation in his penis again."

In an interview with a probation officer, Bonilla approached the man at home and told him: "You need to stay away from my wife and leave her alone."
Bonilla claimed that the two men tussled before he "blacked out and doesn’t remember anything from that point."
