One lucky Brit could be the winner of a whopping £175million after no one scooped the jackpot in last night's EuroMillions draw.

The sky-high top prize has been now been capped, meaning it can't be rolled over again, and any more money added will be split in the second tier.

The EuroMillions jackpot is capped when it reaches the value of €200m (£180,000), before a special 'must be won' draw.

So far, the top prize hasn't been bagged, but if one person is lucky enough to have the winning ticket in the next draw, they'll take home the highest amount ever won in the UK.

The eye-watering amount would make the winner richer than top singer Adele, who has a net worth of £150m.

But it wouldn't quite match the fortunes of Ed Sheeran, whose net worth is valued at £200m.

It would also knock the current record-breaking winner, who scooped £170m, off the top spot. The mystery winner has never been unmasked.

Andy Carter, Camelot's senior winners' adviser at The National Lottery, said: "It's still all to play for on Tuesday night when the whopping EuroMillions jackpot of an estimated £175million remains up for grabs.

"Players are urged to buy their tickets early online via the National Lottery app or website, or in their local shop, to be in with a chance of winning this massive prize."

The biggest-ever winners of EuroMillions who revealed themselves are Colin and Chris Weir, who won £161 million in 2011.

The retired couple, who'd previously worked as a cameraman and a psychiatric nurse, enjoyed the cash together for eight years before getting divorced in 2019.

Yesterday's EuroMillions winning numbers were: 14, 38, 20, 27, 34.
