Boy, 16, killed in horror crash after cops called to attempted burglary

A 16-year-old boy has been killed in a car crash after cops were called to reports of an attempted burglary.

The horror crash took place in Greater Manchester as the car smashed into a wall.

Emergency services were called to the attempted burglary in Ambleside, Stalybridge.

It has been reported cops were called just after 6pm on Tuesday and began to follow a car, which then crashed in Wakefield Road.

A Volkswagen Golf is thought to have been involved in the incident.

According to reports another 16-year-old has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, says Countytimes.

Witnesses and those with information have been asked to phone 101 and quote incident number 2146 of 03/11/20.
